Finance Business Partner - 12 month Fixed term contract
Job description
This role will put you in a unique opportunity to collaborate with Finance and Non-Financial teams and be a Business Partner to key business units and work closely and report to the Senior Leadership team.
This opportunity is ideal for a highly motivated finance professional who is ready to make a significant impact. You will work closely with various business units and teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting and offering strategic financial insights to support business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Get involved with Project Accounting including analysis and driving business cases for strategic initiatives.
- Strategic and Financial Planning to develop and implement financial plans that align with overall company strategies.
- Managing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and operational reviews.
- Perform financial appraisals, scenario analysis, and scenario assessments to identify risks and opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform detailed financial analysis and develop business cases for investment and improvement projects.
- Collaborate with business unit teams across finance and non-finance teams.
- Deliver accurate monthly financial results, forecasts, and budget reports.
- Lead the creation of dashboards, ensuring timely and practical insights are available for decision-making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting, systems, and processes.
- Partner with the financial accounting team to maintain an effective internal control environment, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information.
Skills and Qualifications:
- CA/CPA accreditation is highly desirable.
- Between 8-10 years' experience in the manufacturing, medical device or similar environment.
- Proven experience in FP&A, budgeting, and financial management, with a focus on strategic financial planning and project management is preferred.
- Hands-on experience using ERP and BI tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
