Procurement Analyst
Job description
Established Real Estate giant is recruiting for a Procurement Analyst to join their team.
This exciting opportunity involves working closely with the Head of Procurement to help shape and grow their centralised procurement function.
The role offers excellent long-term career prospects and the chance to make a lasting impact within a prominent organisation.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with experience in contract management, preferably within real estate or building services.
Duties include:
- Assist in negotiating contracts and ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Evaluate supplier performance and build strong vendor relationships.
- Research and source new suppliers to expand procurement options
- Streamline procurement workflows and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Implement best practices to improve efficiency and sustainability.
- Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with organisational policies and regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance with ethical and legal procurement standards.
- Analyse historical spending data to identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
- Assess procurement needs and forecast future demand.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support decision-making
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Real Estate or related field
- Proven experience in procurement/supply chain management essential
- Experience in Oracle or MRI advantageous
- Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to building categories pertaining to HVAC, security and cleaning.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI and experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder management skills and problem-solving skills.
The role will be based in their CBD offices with one day working for home.
