Job Description:

Our industrial services client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Leader to join their team for a 6-month contract with the potential for a permanent position. This Infrastructure Leader will be a crucial resource in ensuring completion on major projects across core operations, cloud services and networking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage extensive infrastructure experience to support and lead key projects involving core operations, cloud services, and networking.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining business continuity.
• Collaborate closely with IT team members, stakeholders, and vendors to align infrastructure initiatives with overall business objectives.
• Maintain and update comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Conduct Return on Investment (ROI) analysis and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of infrastructure investments.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong expertise in infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services (preferably Azure).
• Ideally managed a small team across infrastructure
• Proficiency in virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• In-depth understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
