Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the company: They are successful and innovative company, seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join the Sydney team. As a sole contributor, you will be responsible for managing both cloud and on-premise activities, ensuring the seamless operation of the Azure environment, and leading the migration of workloads to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimise the Azure environment to ensure high availability and performance.
• Lead the migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure solutions, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud and on-premise systems to ensure reliability and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.
• Maintain some existing on-premise infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a background maintaining Windows Servers, Active Directory, VMWare, O365 and networking
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on an Azure environment.
• Experience with cloud migration projects and tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
