Head of Operations - relocate to Fiji

Job description

Helloworld is seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to oversee the shared services and back-office operations of their Fiji Operations Centre, including their tourism Transport Fiji operations. This role entails comprehensive leadership and management responsibilities, including recruitment, performance management, and staff development. The successful candidate will collaborate with managers in Australia and New Zealand to ensure the Fiji workforce meets or exceeds KPIs. Additionally, the Country Manager will manage day-to-day operations, payroll, and human resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and management to local leaders of the shared services team.
Monitor work, productivity, and efficiencies to ensure optimal business operations.
Partner with senior managers in Australia and New Zealand on resourcing requirements, recruitment, and staff development initiatives.
Negotiate and manage local office supplies and amenities.
Lead the HR and Payroll functions.
Act as the local point of contact for all government and regulatory affairs, representing Helloworld Travel as a major employment investor in Fiji.
Ensure compliance and record-keeping for TTF vehicles, including insurances.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial statements.
