Our client is an ASX listed company based in the inner south. They operate multinationally and employ over 600 staff.

About the Role

They are looking for a Financial Reporting & Data Specialist. A newly created position in the business, you will be the subject matter expert on all things financial reporting & data. Your responsibilities will include -

• Liaising with finance leadership to create accurate financial reports and dashboards using Solver, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Financial Reporters, SSRS and Power BI, in line with business needs, and to support business needs & decision-making.
• Managing data warehouses to support Microsoft Fabric reporting & analytics.
• Documenting / creating manuals for the financial reporting systems, and training finance team members on how to create reports & dashboards.
• Supporting admin, upgrades and troubleshooting of the reporting systems.
  
  

Given this role is based onsite in South Melbourne 5 days per week, there are great office perks such as a fully stocked fridge, pool table and gym on offer.

About You

You could have a finance or IT/Data background but what's important is that you're a data fiend. You are someone who's not afraid to facilitiate meetings and workshops with your stakeholders so that the whole finance team is fluent in using reporting tools. You are able to understand your stakeholders' reporting needs, and deliver accurate reporting.

You will also have working knowledge of financial systems and BI tools (e.g. Solver, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI), advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases, and be an advanced user of Excel. Lastly, familiarity with managing data warehouses is also required.
