Financial Accountant

Accountant | $100K + Super | Immediate Start | Sydney
Are you a detail-oriented Accountant looking for an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing global organisation? We are seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join a leading multinational business, supporting financial operations across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare journals in line with company accounting policies.
• Process monthly transactions, including issuing credit and debit notes.
• Oversee the Fixed Asset process, working closely with internal teams and overseas shared services.
• Manage manual payments and coordinate with the shared service team.
• Support audit processes, ensuring timely completion of internal and external audit requests.
• Assist with Balance Sheet Reconciliation for country-specific General Ledgers.
• Contribute to the month-end process in collaboration with international finance teams.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA qualified or working towards it).
• 3-4 years of experience in financial or management accounting.
• Revenue Recognition and audit coordination experience is essential.
• Experience with SAP S4 Hana is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
• Experience with Hyperion reporting and Project Systems (PS) is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
