• $55 - $65 per hour

• ASAP Start - 6 month temporary contract

Our client is a leader in IT solutions providing a range of services to the public and private sector. Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the team at their stunning Sydney CBD offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the finance manager during a critical period.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, journals and reporting
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and payment.
• Provide insight on financial performance
• Coordinating with broader finance team and other departments to deliver monthly results
• Preparation of monthly performance
• Assisting with periodic budgeting and forecasting processes
• Participate in process improvement and drive continuous improvement
• Ad-hoc projects as and when required

Skills & Qualifications:

• CA or CPA is essential
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role
• Preference will be given to those candidates with large ERP systems experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High level of attention to detail
• Collaborative, motivated and enthusiastic
