Job description
Leader in transformation and technology is recruiting for a Finance Manager.
This pivotal hands-on Finance Manager roles will manage and oversee financial operations for the local business, collaborating closely with the executive team. You'll be instrumental in reporting and contributing to strategic decision-making processes. This is the ideal opportunity to get ASX-listed experience.
This business facing role who would suit a strong communicator who can build relationships with different stakeholders.
Kindly be advised that this position entails one week per month of on-site presence in Canberra, where some of the operations and key clients are situated. Accommodation and travel allowances will be provided.
Duties include:
- Oversee the daily transaction processing including revenue, debtors and payroll
- Half and Full year statutory reporting
- Compile monthly management accounting group reporting for ACT business
- Calculate and monitor AASB15 compliance
- Budget preparation ACT operations and detailed fortnightly forecast
- Liaising with operational department with regards to working capital requirements
- Preparing and compiling BAS reporting
- Identify enhancements for current processes, such as implementing a cloud-based system for lease-based accounting and migrating ERP systems.
- Month end journal entries for management accounts
- Manage a team of three
Skills
- CA/CPA qualified
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in a commercial role with people management
- Proven experience in complex stakeholder management and competing deadlines
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in working for listed companies
- Advanced Excel and MS Dynamics.
