Client Onboarding Project Manager

The Business Implementation team is key to ensuring a smooth client onboarding and transition, led by the Client Onboarding Manager. This role spans pre-sales (RFI, RFP, DD), full ownership of client onboarding, operational model alignment, financial management, and collaboration across both internal and external stakeholders to ensure success.

The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of workstream tasks, validating deliverables, tracking milestones, and managing risks. They will coordinate both local and offshore teams, including Operations, IT, and project staff, to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, management, and delivery.
  • Manage project resources, including workstream leads.
  • Facilitate client meetings on requirements, solutioning, testing, and implementation planning.
  • Oversee project risks, issues, dependencies, and quality, acting as an escalation point.
  • Implement a formal scope change process for all project requirements.
  • Monitor and measure progress to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Ensure all stakeholders, including executives, are informed of project updates, changes, and risks.
  • Provide technical oversight with a focus on financial services, funds management, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct quality reviews to ensure deliverables meet business needs and comply with standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the client's project management methodologies, audit, and security requirements.
  • Prepare Steering Committee reports and contribute to onboarding and project management best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

The Project Manager should have strong financial services knowledge, particularly in client onboarding and business change projects. They must demonstrate leadership, project management expertise, and the ability to motivate teams and manage complex projects. A minimum of 8 years' experience in project management is required.

Mandatory:

  • Experience in financial services, especially in Fund Accounting, Unit Pricing, Investment Administration, and Custody.
  • Proven success managing client onboarding and business change projects.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work in dynamic, team-oriented environments.

Preferable:

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Project Management qualifications.
