​My background:

I am an experienced technical recruiter working in the Software Development space in Sydney.

I was born in Canada and moved to Australia in 2010 for what was meant to be a three-month holiday. However, that trip turned into a new chapter of my life. After a sabbatical in Mexico, where I was inspired by my housemate who was working remotely for a U.S. recruitment company, I decided to explore a career in recruitment myself. I took the plunge in 2021, and it’s been an exciting journey ever since!

I joined Ambition in 2024 recruiting for the Software Development desk. I have previously recruited in the government space and project services in my previous roles.

Outside of work, I’m a passionate sports enthusiast. I still play ice hockey on Tuesdays - yes, there really is ice hockey in Australia! I’m also an avid surfer and love catching a few waves before work. Travelling is incredibly important to me as well; I enjoy exploring new places and cultures whenever I can
