That's a wrap!

As we wrap up 2022, we reflect back on all that we have achieved this year, as well as the challenges we faced and overcame. Our business is better than ever and we have only just scratched the surface; looking forward to next year and all that it has to bring.

I'm so proud of how far our business has come this year.

At the start of 2022 we were anticipating one of the busiest years the recruitment industry had ever seen, and we haven't been disappointed.

We started the year with great experience in the group, a first-class team, and the best tools and training available. Our growing client list of interesting and diverse organisations valued us and the results we were delivering, and our commitment to innovation was genuinely exciting. We knew we were prepared to work hard to bring all of these assets together and we've certainly done that. What we have achieved has surpassed my expectations and I now firmly believe this is the best recruitment business I have been part of in all of my years in the industry.

We've built a great place to come to work which is actually flexible and that works without micromanagement. We have become a team who share, learn and enjoy each other's company in and out of the workplace. The feedback we receive from clients and candidates is exceptional and shows that our group take our reputation for quality very seriously and that people enjoy working with our team no matter what field or specialisation. We're thorough and professional, and we're having a great time doing what we do. We are consistent and we do what we say we will do.

As we look forward to whatever 2023 has in store, I know I am surrounded by an inspiring mix of the best leaders and individual performers, the most talented next generation of recruiters, an incredible back office and support team, and above all, the most collaborative and inclusive group I've ever worked with.

Every month we each nominate a fellow colleague, who we feel lives our PRIDE values during that month and we celebrate their hard work.

Engagement

Our BICEPS engagement program addresses the six core needs we have as humans, both personally and professionally. Whilst each of our own hierarchies will vary within these factors, the Ambition business is built around optimising each of these attributes as part of our engagement vision.

We survey our team every quarter and these results are from Q3 2022.

September

A group from our Melbourne team went to South Surrey Park to assist with weeding areas with newly planted natives, this also included moving fallen tree debris.

December

A group from our Sydney team went to Bondi beach and cleaned up every single piece of rubbish they could find.

Our Melbourne team hosted a bake sale of which proceeds went to Streetsmart: Sleepsafe. They raised $345, as well as a clothing drive. Our Sydney team hosted a morning tea where the group made donations to StreetSmart and The Wishing Tree.
