Data & Reporting Analyst

My Client play an important role in community health right across Victoria. They have recently invested in building out a new Data & Reporting team and are now recruiting a Data & Reporting analyst to help them along that journey. Over the next 12-18 months, they are looking to build their own Data Warehouse and start to use the unlocked data to provide clearer insights and better value to their clients and the broader Victorian health community.

I am looking for a strong Data Analyst to come on board that has experience with SQL Server, ETL tools such as SSIS & SSRS along with solid PowerBI capabilities. The right candidate will be able to bring these skills in to the business and have a good understanding of how Health data moves from A-Z.

This is an opportunity for someone to come in at the early stages of the Data transformation to have real input in to the strategy and delivery of their data capabilities.

Key skills and experience:

  • Strong SQL Server development skills
  • Experience in migrating reporting from SSRS to PowerBI and helping a business build out their reporting capabilities.
  • Exposure to other parts of the Microsoft stack such as SSAS, SSIS, Azure Data Factory and Synapse.
  • Ability to articulate data insights back to business leaders.
  • Sit with a range of business stakeholders to understand what their reporting needs are and help them achieve those goals.
